The intricate motifs and patterns in the framework are inspired by Tattreez, a form of Palestinian embroidery preserved through oral history, passed down from mother to daughter. Tirazain Collective, a digital and interactive archive dedicated to preserving this centuries-old art form, was used as a reference. the flowers depicted are blue flax, yellow daisy, thyme, poppy, and toothpick weed, reminiscent of the flowers that bloom in the springtime in Palestine.
